NDE Trains 130 Unemployed Women in Niger state  to be Self Reliant

The National Directorate of Employment NDE in Niger state has commenced the training of 130 women on three different skills acquisition  Programme aimed at being self reliant and independent.
 Director General of the agency, Malam Abubakar Nuhu Fikpo  while flagging off the program in Minna, said it’s going to be a five days intensive training going on simultaneously across the 36 states including FCT Abuja
He was represented by the Niger  State Coordinator Alhaji Abdulmalik Liman who emphasized on the importance of women in the family and society hence the need to empower them accordingly.
The Head of Department, Small Scale Enterprises Development, Dr Mohammed Dantsoho Abubakar said the training consisted of fifty women in Tye and Oye, fifty women in Make Up, Gele and Event Decoration as well as thirty women in Natural, Sones/Beads Work and Perfume respectively.
The Permanent Secretary, state ministry of Investment, Commerce and Industry, Alhaji Baba Wachiko urged participants to take the training with seriousness and make use of the knowledge gained for the benefit of their families and society.
Also, Fatima Mama Ibrahim who is the head of the unit Women Employment Branch (WEB) told the beneficiaries on the need to have the training and its benefits to the women folk in the society.
