APC Chairmanship: Nasarawa support group applauds President Buhari choice Of Abdullahi Adamu
Leadership of the Migili Cultural and Development Association in Nasarawa State, has applauded President Muhammadu Buhari for his choice of Senator Abdullahi Adamu as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress.
President of the Association, Philip Ajeh, gave President Buhari a tap on the back through a statement he made available to our Correspondent on Tuesday in Lafia, the State Capital.
According to him the APC National Convention was successfully done due to the maturity exhibited by the President.
Ajeh who also commended the State Governor, Abdullahi Sule for his fatherly role, before, during and after the Convention, said his contributions helped to calm the tension in the camp of both Senator Abdullahi Adamu and Tanko Al-Makura, who were aspiring for the same position.
According to the statement, “The Migili Cultural and Development Association want to use this opportunity to thank President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Abdullahi Sule for their efforts in making sure that the APC convention was successful, as a group, we are happy that Senator Abdullahi Adamu finally emerged as the national chairman of the APC, we want to also commend Senator Tanko Al-Makura for being a dogged politician and for accepting the wishes of the party”.
The group leader who described Senator Abdullahi Adamu as a lover of the Migili Nation who contributed in no small way to the growth of their Communities during his tenure as governor of the State, assured him of their unflinching support.
