Money Laundering: SCOAN Disciple, Joseph David Omojevbe On The Run Over EFCC Invitation
One of the disciples at the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Mr. Joseph David Omojevbe is on the run, presumably to avoid honouring the invitation of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over allegations of money laundering and theft from the vault of the Church.
Mr. Omojevbe has also reportedly sponsored recent negative narratives on social media claiming that SCOAN members have rejected the leader of the Church, Mrs Evelyn Joshua, among other lies and propaganda.
A source from the Church has however disclosed Mr. Omojevbe is being sponsored by some foreigners of the Church, to destabilise the Church activities and cause so much ruckus, with the sole intent of looting the Church funds and absconding with their loots.
Information from an exclusive source who preferred not to be named stated that: ” Humans are very wicked and the level of disloyalty and criminality being perpetuated in the Church since the demise of our Founder, Pastor Temitope Balogun Joshua is becoming alarming.” The alleged perpetuators in the Church hierarchy want to continue their impunity. Consequently, they are vehemently opposing the newly appointed leader of the Church, as proclaimed by the Court, Mrs Evelyn Joshua, from taking up the new mantle placed on her.
“Mr. Omojevbe is from Delta State (an Urhobo native) who attended Yaba School of Technology. When allowed, he was one of the people that ran commentaries on the Sunday service in the background in Church. However, he has been discharged from the Church on several occasions for lack of moral rectitude. He left to be a musician about 3 years ago, then begged to be allowed back to the fold when his music career failed.
Our source further disclosed that: “He originally came with the problem of Hepatitis C and his brother with the problem of sickle cell. They came for prayers – it’s on record.””He is a trustee being used to challenge Mrs. Joshua’s leadership and they have now filed a frivolous application to set aside a complete judgment of the Court.
