It was a moment of joy recently when the class ’92 of Ola Oluwa Muslim Grammar Ado Ekiti gathered to have first ever reunion since they graduated from the school thirty years ago.
In her speech the president of 1992 Mrs Olubunmi Jejelowo appreciate God for upholding and sustaining members of the set .
She noted that many of them today are making great impact and exploits in their chosen career because of the training and discipline they received while in Ola Oluwa Muslim Grammar Ado Ekiti.
Apart from the reunion ,the set also gave a solar powered bore hole with eight fetching points to the school to ameliorate the scarcity of water in the school.
Mrs jejelowo who noted that due to pauncity of fund , Ekiti State government alone cannot adequately provide needed facilities in the schools called on other graduating sets of the school to remember their alma mater and give give back to her .
A member of the set, Mr.Kolawole Olaniyi who single handedly built and donated a concrete structure serving as Principals roll calls for the school expressed his happiness to noticable development in the school especially the modern sçhool gate.
He noted that he passed through the school and the school passed him no wonder today he is a successful man.
He enjoyed all old students of the school to emulate their set in giving back to the school that made them.
The outgoing Principal of the school chief Agbaje Jamiu Olufunso who lauded the kind gesture of 1992 set called on them to always remember their alma mater in any position they find themselves in life.
He particularly praised the effort of some the old students of the school who built ulta modern gate for the institution.
He noted that he is living the school better than he met it with high enrollment of students, befitting Principal office, modern gate among others.
Award of excellence was given to dedicated and committed teachers who taught 1992 set during the event.
