Bandits in their numbers have again stormed Rafi Local Government of Niger State killing one person and abducting fifteen other villagers mostly women.
It was gathered that the armed bandits attacked Batagari Village in the Maikujeri District of Rafi Local Government, noting that the attackers were riding on Motorcycles and shooting sporadically into the air to instil fear into the villagers.
Sources revealed that after causing panic they started moving from house to house ransacking buildings and taking away their valuable properties.
Reports indicated that most of those kidnapped were women, however there destination is yet to be ascertained as the relations were yet to get contact of their whereabout.
When contacted the Niger state command of Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Wasiu Abiodun could not be reached at the time of filing in this report.
