The Accord Party, Zamfara state chapter under the leadership of the Chairman Malam Sani Abdullahi R/Bore has successfully concluded its Primaries, unanimously presenting the Retired Assistant Inspector General AIG, of Police, Musa Yusuf Garba as the party’s consensus Governorship candidate for 2027 general elections.
The ceremony which held at Gusau Restaurant oppite FCE-T witnessed a massive turnout in support of the Accord Party in the state as the chief returning officer, Chief Paul Eze presented at the party’s Guber candidate and other candidates for state Assembly and national Assembly respectively.
Speaking after the presentation of party’s candidates by the Chief returning officer, the party’s state Chairman, Malam Abdullahi Ruwan-Bore thanked the coalition committee chairman and members for their efforts in making the Primaries election exercise a huge success.
He appreciated the Aspirants for their patient and understanding that assisted the committee to scale through the process smoothly.
Bashir Abdullahi lauded the Governorship Aspirant, Alhaji Musa Yusuf Garba AIG Rtrd for choosing Accord Party in Zamfara state as a platform for his Governorship interest.
He pledged unflinching support of the party to the candidacy of the Retired AIG and all the state and national Assembly candidates.
Bashir called for a renewed commitment of the party’s executives, members, Stakeholders and supporters from the state to local government levels to ensure the success of all Accord Party candidates at the polls come 2027.
In his words of response, the the Governorship Candidate, Alhaji Musa Yusuf Garba AIG Rtrd commended the party Chairman, the Primaries election committee chairman and members for making the exercise a great success.
He maintained that, he has great zeal to bring an end to the scourge of insecurity in Zamfara state, end youth restiveness via provision of employment opportunities and skills acquisition training. Engage traditional gatekeepers, information Stakeholders and security agencies for the purpose of bringing lasting peace in the state.
The Accord Party candidate vowed to improve the living standards of commercial farmers by providing modern farm tools and fertilizer for for them in every season of farming in the state.

The AIG called on all citizens, residents and stakeholders in Zamfara state to vote for him come 2027 general elections for a new Zamfara state.
