Organization  flags-off massive economic support for small scale traders in Zamfara

A non-governmental organization identified as Jagaba Women and Youths Organization, led by Hajiya Aisha Aliyu, has officially flagged off a massive economic support initiative to boost the standard of small-scale traders in Zamfara state.
The event, which was held at the Tsafe Local Government Council of Zamfara state, is aimed at supporting the vulnerable members of the society and empowering them to cater for their families while raising and strengthening others who desire similar businesses.
Speaking at the Occasion, Hajiya Aisha Aliyu,  Kilishin Kwatarkwashi, stated that the initiative reflects the compassionate leadership and people-oriented vision of Hon. Kabir Lawal Muhammad, popularly known as KLM, whose commitment remains focused on improving the lives of ordinary citizens and strengthening grassroots economic activities across Zamfara State.
She further revealed that the empowerment programme would extend to all 14 Local Government Areas of the state, with special attention given to petty traders, women, and youths engaged in small businesses such as Awara selling, local food vending, and other self-reliance ventures.
According to her, empowering small business owners remains one of the most effective ways of fighting poverty, creating economic stability, and promoting community development at the grassroots level.
The empowerment initiative of Jagaba Women and Youths Organization in Zamfara state comprised the distribution of rice, cooking oil, soya beans, beans, frying pans, suya pots, and cash support of ₦10,000 to each beneficiary.
Beneficiaries who spoke during the occasion expressed deep appreciation for the gesture, describing it as timely and impactful.
One of the beneficiaries, Uwa Idris, said the support would greatly boost her business and help her cater to her family’s daily needs.
The event sponsored by Hon. Kabiru Lawal Muhammad (KLM), Jagaban Zamfara, underscored his growing reputation as a grassroots politician dedicated to touching lives, supporting the less privileged, and complementing their efforts towards economic growth and social development in Zamfara State.
