The ambition of the former Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere, has gained momentum as the aspirant picked the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms to contest the Imo East (Owerri Zone) Senatorial seat ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Prince Madumere, an American-trained technocrat, human development expert, and strategist, is acknowledged for his dynamic role in the emergence of both Owelle Rochas Okorocha and Governor Hope Uzodimma as Governors of Imo State.

Prince Madumere, through this action, has put in motion the paradigm shift train and demonstrated clear zeal and willingness to represent Owerri Zone in the Red Chambers.

The strategist and administrator, noted for his unassuming nature and humility, is set to engage his wealth of experience in the service of the populace and calls for the support of the electorate.

Speaking,  Prince Madumere expressed optimism and commitment to responsible, responsive, accessible, and result-oriented representation at the Senate.

He said, “We must keep hope alive, the time to reposition and re-engineer Owerri Zone is now, and we must be alive to our responsibilities. All hands must be on deck as we embark on this paradigm shift,  through the “Journey of Grace.

“I am optimistic that with this bold step, hope is rekindled across Owerri Zone. I look forward  to working with my constituent for the restoration and transformation  of  Owerri Senatorial zone.”

“Owerri Zone deserves a strong voice in the  Senate — one that understands the terrain, has a federal network, and can attract real dividends of democracy. I offer myself again to serve, to unify, and to deliver,” he submitted.

Prince Madumere, a grassroots mobilizer, promised to rekindle and attract industries, facilitate the reconstruction of Roads, maternal health centers, and youth empowerment schemes, and create jobs.

The former Deputy Governor commended PDP National Chairman, Mohammad Abdulrahman, and the National Secretary, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, for unifying and stabilizing the party and creating a conducive environment for all aspirants, stakeholders, and members.
