The member, representing Gummi/Bukkuyum Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Dr. Sulaiman Abubakar Gumi has secured federal jobs to more than 120 youths in his constituency.
He also sponsored several healthcare intervention projects and assisted in paying WAEC, NECO and NAB TECH registration fees for students taking O’level examinations.
The statement signed by the spokesperson to the member representing Gummi/Bukkuyum federal constituency, Alhaji Bello Naallah revealed that the Lawmaker has sponsored cholera, Malaria and measles immunization interventions for Gummi, Bukkuyum and some parts of Zurmi Local Government Areas of the state.
According to the statement, the tireless efforts of Dr. Sulaiman Gumi in enhancing the educational sector remain unparalleled, while the health sector and other critical areas have also received his utmost attention.
The plight of unemployed youths weighs heavily on him, prompting his successful efforts to secure federal appointments for over 120 individuals in various ministries, departments, military, police, paramilitary organizations, and other federal agencies.
Rt. Hon.Sulaiman Abubakar Gumi has launched numerous initiatives aimed at empowering youths to become self-reliance.
Some of the community intervention projects include the construction of 21 solar-powered barbing shops across 21 wards, provision of dug wells and solar-powered water pumping machines to facilitate dry season farming and conduction of skill acquisition programmes to further empower the youths of the Zamfara state.
