The police in Lagos State have declared three wanted over alleged organization, participation in a gay party in the Ikorodu area of the state, a behaviour that offends the laws and customary practices in every part of Nigeria.

The men simply identified as Toyosi Oladele, Oladimeji Ogunmefun and Victor Adeyinka were said to have individually and severally mobilize some gay people to the illicit gathering on June 25, 2025 before the police invaded the venue and dispatched them but not without making some persons including one Olamide Adegoke.

The police have however charged Olamide Adegoke to court over allegations of organizing an obscene and indecent gathering of same sex practitioners, which they claimed had negatively influenced other young men within the community.

But the police have spread their dragnet in search of Oladimeji Ogunmefun Toyosi Oladele and Victor Adeyinka.
Olamide Adegoke said to be the rig-leader of the same sex offenders is aged 34 years, about 5 feet 4 inches tall, dark in complexion, and speaks English and Yoruba languages fluently. He reportedly went into hiding after escaping arrest at the gay party.

Law enforcement officials confirmed that Oladimeji Ogunmefun Toyosi Oladele and Victor Adeyinka fled before they could be arrested and have remained at large since then.

A senior officer with the Lagos State Police Command confirmed the manhunt, saying; “the suspects are wanted for questioning over alleged unlawful conduct under the Same-Sex Marriage (Prohibition) Act of 2013. Anyone with useful information about their whereabouts should report to the nearest police station.”

Community leaders in Ikorodu are aghast over the culprits behavior and have expressed deep concern, alleging that they he had been found to exhibit attitude that detract from the norm including their obscene sexual orientation.

As of the time of filing this report Oladimeji Ogunmefun Toyosi Oladele and Victor Adeyinka remained at large as police sources said efforts are ongoing to locate and question them regarding the allegations.

Authorities have urged members of the public to provide credible information that could assist in their arrest and prosecution.
