The immediate past Governor of Zamfara state and the Honourable Minister of State for Defence Dr. Bello Mohammed Matawa, le has concluded plans to give out 9 children of his for marriage in one day, coming February 6th 2026.

Speaking to journalists in Gusau through phone on Sunday, the state Publicity secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Zamfara state chapter, Malam Yusuf Idris Gusau, said the marriage would take place in Abuja Central mosque on February 6.

According to Idris, Matawalle’s children who were to get married included five sons and four daughters.

He debunked claims that the marriage involving nine daughters of the Honourable Minister Matawale was conducted last Saturday.

He said, “The story is false and unfounded but by the grace of God, the ceremony would be conducted in Abuja Central mosque on 6th February.

“I also want to confirm that, the Minister’s children who are getting married included five sons and four daughters”.

“I am among the committee members of this great occasion, and as I am speaking to you now, arrangements have reached an advanced stage for the smooth ceremony in Abuja next month”. Idris said.

List of people to be given out in marriage by Dr. Bello Matawale include; Nana Bello Matawalle with a groom officiated by former Zamfara Assembly Speaker Nasiru Mu’azu Magarya, Farida Bello Matawalle with Ibrahim Sahabi Liman, Safiya Bello Matawalle with Yazid Shehu Dan Fulani and Aisha Bello Matawalle with Umar Ibrahim Danmaliki.

The unprecedented event is attracting attention for its scale and family coordination.
