The Government of Zamfara State, under the administration of Governor Dauda Lawal, has completed the construction of the modern NUJ building project in just 37 days.
Malam Musa Bello Jabaka, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, stated this while receiving the fully completed project from A. G. Amajir Construction Company on behalf of the Ministry, describing it as a job well done.
The building so far constructed is indeed according to specifications, and our team of Engineers who accompanied us to receive this building project are satisfied with the quality of the work done by A.G Amajir.
The material, both inwardly and outwardly, are base on specifications and can stand the test of time. The Contractors indeed gave us 70 days to complete the building project, but were able to complete it in a span of 37 days. We sincerely commend the company.
Having received the building project completed by A.G. Amajir company and handed over to the chairman of Zamfara state NUJ, Comrade Ibrahim Musa Maizare, we would await any further directives from the Governor, Dr. Dauda Lawal, and the commissioner of the Ministry before approving the building for use.
Receiving the completed building project from the Ministry, the Chairman, Zamfara state Nigerian Union Of Journalist, Comrade Ibrahim Musa Maizare, lauded Governor Dauda Lawal for providing a modern edifice for the practicing Journalists in the state, assuring that the building would be used judiciously and protected maximally according to the ethics and practice of NUJ.
Speaking further, Maizare lauded the effort of his Predecessors which has yielded greater success in his tenure, describing the building project as a great milestone in the history of NUJ in Zamfara state.
