Chairman of BUA Group, Abdul Samad Rabiu, has announced a massive cash reward for the Super Eagles following their impressive victory over Algeria, describing the team’s performance as a source of national pride.
In a congratulatory message, Rabiu praised the players for lifting the spirit of Nigerians and pledged substantial financial incentives to spur them on ahead of the semi-finals.
According to the statement via his Facebook handle, the Nigeria billionaire industrialist promised $500,000 to the players should they win their semi-final encounter, with an additional $50,000 for every goal scored.
Rabiu further disclosed that if the Super Eagles go on to clinch the final, he would reward the team with $1,000,000, alongside a $100,000 bonus for each goal scored in the final match.
“You have lifted the spirit of the nation, and we proudly cheer you on as you prepare for the semi-finals,” Rabiu said, urging the team to continue making the country proud.
