Sokoto Gov introduce new measures to tackle banditry

Sokoto State Governor, Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto, is launching new initiatives to tackle banditry.

He’s building on existing efforts with security agencies, which are already showing results.

The new strategy focuses on boosting intelligence gathering to combat bandits across the state.

The strategies include providing logistics and support to security agencies;
Residents’ support crucial to making Sokoto State safer;Gov’t commitment to making banditry “history” in Sokoto; Appeal to citizens to back gov’t and security agencies.

The Governor,at the last executive council meeting for the year 2025 thanked the State Executive Council members and the people of Sokoto for their support, assuring more “dividends of democracy”

He also welcomed new appointees, urging them to contribute to his admin’s 9-Point Smart Innovative Agenda.
