Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has boldly declared that the era of stigmatising single mothers is officially over.

In a viral video, the outspoken actress insisted that single mothers are thriving and raising children who are excelling across different fields.

Styling herself as the President-General of the Single Mothers Association, Ojo claimed that men now actively pursue single mothers, valuing their life experience and maturity.

According to her, men are no longer interested in keeping single mothers as side relationships but are eager to marry them.

“Gone are the days when being a single mother was a stigma. Single mothers’ children are doing great things in life. Men are chasing single mothers,” she said.

“They are even begging us that they don’t want us to be a side chick. They want us to marry them because we have experience. If a man leaves you, another man will accept you. I am the President General of the Single Mothers Association,” she added.

The actress recently echoed similar empowerment messages at her daughter’s baby shower, where she urged women to break generational limitations.

She advised women not to assume that past patterns must repeat themselves, encouraging them to create their own narratives.
