Momma Institute of Technology, Innovation now full-fledged Polytechnic

Niger State Government has successfully amended the law establishing the Minna Institute of Technology and Innovation, empowering it to operate as a full-fledged polytechnic.
Provost of the institute, Engr. Dr. Mohammed Liman Yerima revealed this in a statement madeg available to Newsmen in Minna.
The Provost said the amended law will enable the institute to run National Diploma and Higher National Diploma courses, expanding access to quality education and providing more opportunities for young people to acquire skills and knowledge.
The management of the Institute commended state Governor Umar Bago for his tireless efforts towards transforming Niger State into a hub for education, innovation, and economic growth.
He said under the leadership of Governor Umaru Bago, the state has witnessed significant strides in various sectors, including agriculture, healthcare, and infrastructure development.
Engr. Yerima said the institute is grateful for the governor’s commitment to investing in education and infrastructure, which has yielded positive results and positioned Niger State for sustainable growth and development.
According to him, this significant milestone is a testament to the visionary leadership of Governor Umaru Bago who has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to revitalizing the education sector in the state.
