The African Democratic Congress (ADC) Bariki ward executives in the Bida local government area of Niger state have officially suspended Dr. Mani Ibrahim Ahmed due to gross misconduct and an intentional effort to undermine the authority of both the ward and local government executives.
The suspension letter was signed by Bariki ward Chairman, Hon. Abubakar N. Abdullahi, along with the endorsement of thirty ward executives.
It was outlined that Dr. Ahmed has repeatedly ignored the party’s Constitution, laws, and leadership directives, prompting the decision for an indefinite suspension.
The letter emphasized the ward executives’ authority in line with the ADC Party’s Constitution, stating, “In view of the above and in accordance with the powers of the ward executives, Dr. Mani Ibrahim Ahmed is hereby placed on indefinite suspension from the ADC.”
The ADC leadership reiterated its commitment to maintaining the unity, integrity, and progress of the party in Bariki ward, asserting that the decision was vital for preserving the party’s standards and governance in the Niger state.
