Niger Tornadoes boss emphasized on team discipline as new season kicks off

...Appoints Abdulazeez Abara as Team's Technical Director

Niger Tornadoes football club Chairman, Engineer Ibrahim Dada (FNSE), has urged the team’s players to uphold discipline as a guiding principle just as the the Nigeria Premier football League (NPFL) 2025/26 season kicks off.

Speaking during the team’s final training session in Minna ahead of the team’s rescheduled midweek fixture against Nasarawa United in Ilorin, Engr. Dada stressed that discipline is the cornerstone of success.

“As we embark on this new season, I want to remind you all that discipline is essential to achieving our goals,” Engr. Dada said.

He went on, “It is part of our team’s motto, and anything short of that will not be tolerated.

“I urge you all, especially our newly signed players to take note of this and make it a priority.”

The Chairman emphasized that maintaining the club’s status in the league is a top priority, and as such, they must be focused, committed, and dedicated to achieve the desired success.

“With our first match rescheduled to be played away from home, I expect everyone to be on their best behavior and start the season on a good note,” he added.

Meanwhile, Coach Hamza Abdulazeez Abara has been appointed as the team’s Technical Director.

This strategic move aims to strengthen the team’s technical department, leveraging Coach Abara’s vast experience in the NPFL.

His expertise is expected to significantly benefit the team as they navigate the NPFL season.
