Ekiti West LG Chairman presents N4.28billion budget for 2025
The Chairman of Ekiti West Local Government, Hon. Moses Omojola, has presented the year 2025 proposed Budget to Ekiti West Legislative Council today. The budget was christened transformational budget.
‘I wish to present Ekiti West Local Government draft budget of Four billion, two hundred and eighty-four million, eight hundred and thirty thousand, one hundred and seventy-eight naira and ninety Kobo only (N4,284, 830,178.92)
The council chairman said the administration of Ekiti West Local Government is desirous of bringing dividends of democracy to our people. The feat that his administration has been able to achieve in the last year through various programs and Projects in various communities with the guidance of the Ekiti state Governor.
Hon. Omojola highlighted his achievement including lude: the Construction of the Access Culvert at Ijila Street, Aramoko Ekiti, the Construction of 95m concrete block wall line drainage in front of town hall Erio Ekiti, replacement of damaged H.T concrete poles and materials for the restoration of electricity back to Erio Ekiti, repair of transformer at Local Government Secretariat, and construction of a Box Culvert at Ejigbo Quarters, Oke Oja, Aramoko Ekiti.
Hon. Omojola implored the legislators to pursue the budget in line with Ekiti West Medium term expenditure framework and fiscal framework 2025-2027 and expedite action on its passage into law.
The Chairman used the opportunity to commend the effort of the Executive Governor of Ekiti state, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for his doggedness in conducting the local Government election that brought the present administration into power.
Responding on behalf of other legislators, Hon. Adewumi Adebayo the Majority Leader of the Legislative Council, promised to give the bill a speedy passage.
Present at the occasion include the two other chairmen from Ekameta and Ido-Ile LCDA, the Vice Chairman, the Secretary to the local government, the supervisor for works, the Head of Local Government Administration, and the Directors of various departments.
