Reliable sources in the Central Bank of Nigeria said banks have been instructed to collect the old Naira noted they deposited in CBN and that before the end of the week, the country would be awash with Naira notes

It will be recalled that the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) announced plans to embark on a nationwide industrial action following the ceaseless naira scarcity across the country.

This was confirmed in a directive given by Joe Ajaero, the NLC president, who asked public sector workers in the country to embark on strike from Wednesday, 29 March, 2023.

Our Correspondent gathered that he also directed all affiliate unions constituting the Nigeria Labour Congress to be on standby for picketing exercises across all branches of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, nationwide.

However our findings
revealed that the Apex Bank is ready to flood the country with enough cash anytime from now.
