OSUN: Governor Ademola Adeleke exercises his franchise

The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has casts his vote in his hometown, Ede, Sagba/Abogunde Ward 2, Unit 9 in the ongoing State Assembly elections.
The governor casts his vote at 8:47am where members of his polling unit allow him to exercise his franchise without joining the. long queue.
Speaking with Journalists shortly after he has voted, Senator Adeleke re-emphasized that
he has ordered security agencies to arrest violators of movement restrictions, saying no the matter status, nobody is above the law.
“I am a Chief Security Officer of the state. Nobody is above the law. As I have voted, I’ll return to my family house to wait for the results. So, nobody is above the law that can be moving from one place to another. It is against the electoral law. Nobody should be parading his herself”.
“I have given directives to the security agencies to be at alert. We have been very peaceful in Osun State and I want it to continue”.
The governor admonished eligible voters to come and perform their civic duties without fear of harrament or intimidation, saying it is their duty to vote and democracy has come to stay.
