Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Dorathy Bachor, has reacted to growing speculation about a possible engagement to comedian Broda Shaggi, asking social media users to respect her privacy.

The reality TV star’s response followed online discussions about a gold ring she recently displayed while asking women whether their partners could afford similar jewellery.

In a post, Dorathy asked: “Can your man buy you 150 pounds carat gold ring?”

The ring display, together with a loved-up video featuring the comedian, prompted speculation that Broda Shaggi might have proposed to her.

However, Dorathy did not confirm or deny the engagement rumours. Instead, she expressed displeasure over the attention surrounding her personal life.

“For someone who minds her business, you people really love to poke me. Leave me alone,” she said.

The comedian and the former housemate have previously sparked dating rumours through affectionate exchanges and social media posts.
