As Kano State is on a top ranking stage in terms of education, but some of it’s senior institutions are suffering from lack of conducive atmosphere for learning which is a great setback to acquiring sound education.
Our correspondent who visited the school Wednesday afternoon gathered that the institution is in urgent need of more infrastructure that would enable the place to be a right avenue to learn and study with more courage.
One of the great issue is the lack of full scale students solely under the school while the environment is very much is now sorounded with shrubs and other residues that changed the face of the institution of learning owned by the kano state government.
Most of the students are just roaming around without being in lectures waiting to commence studies in healthcare and other relevant subjects that are the main reasons the institution is established by the past administration.
Similarly, there is no good bridge or culvert that can link a visitor from the main road into the school because no mobility can cross from the main road to the entrance of the institution because flood has overtaken the road linking into the administrative block.
Education is the best sector, and it is important for our leaders to maintain continuity in the sector because in the developed nations, education is given a special consideration with emphasis on providing a conducive leaning atmosphere.
In conclusion, it is a great task to come to the aid of School of Health and applied Sciences Gwamai because the place is looking like a grazing reserve despite the huge amount spent in constructing the institution but maintenance is becoming an issue.
