The Deputy Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, Mrs. Kudirat Abiodun Adegunwa-Balogun, has congratulated Nigerians, particularly the people of Ogun State, on the country’s 66th Independence Anniversary.
Adegunwa-Balogun described the anniversary as a moment to celebrate Nigeria’s resilience, enterprise and enduring hope, while acknowledging the significant contributions of Ogun people to the nation’s economic and social development.
She said the milestone should also serve as an opportunity for Nigerians to renew their commitment to national unity, inclusive growth, economic opportunity and purposeful leadership.
According to her, Nigeria’s independence anniversary provides an important reminder of the collective responsibility of citizens and leaders to build a nation where every individual has the opportunity to thrive.
The APC deputy governorship candidate reaffirmed her commitment to the ITESIWAJU vision she shares with the party’s governorship candidate, Distinguished Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, CON, aimed at expanding economic opportunities and improving the quality of life of residents.
“Nigeria has enormous potential. Together, through purposeful leadership, hard work and collective responsibility, we can build the prosperous nation we all desire. May the green-white-green continue to fly higher with renewed glory,” she said.
Adegunwa-Balogun urged Nigerians to remain hopeful and committed to the country’s progress, stressing that building a prosperous and inclusive nation requires the collective efforts of citizens, leaders and institutions.
She wished Nigerians, especially the people of Ogun State, a peaceful, memorable and inspiring 66th Independence Anniversary.
