The first lady of Ebonyi State founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Better Health for rural women Children and internally displaced persons (BERWO) has made a bold steps of welcoming the newborn five babies birthed and delivered into the family of Mr and Mrs Ogeh Chijioke at Alex Ekwueme Federal Teaching hospital Abakaliki Ebonyi State (AE-FETHA) on the 5th day of June 2026.

The Governor’s wife Mrs Nwifuru out of overjoyed, distributed massive baby items which included, multiple pampers full of one vehicle with baby feedings ,clothes and many others too numerous to mentioned.

She expressed over gratituded that since she had about the news of the multiple babies birthed at the teaching hospital the week became so happily to her and the state in general.

“She narrated that their hearts are full of joy, that she came to jubilate with the family of Mr and Mrs Ogeh Chijioke.

“My heart is full of joy, for the miracle that God has done, God is so faithful to Ebonyi women, when we prayed, he answered’

I told my husband that I’m going to receive my children that God has given to us in Ebonyi State. Five Children at once is not an easy raced she said” immediately I dropped from my flight I told my husband that I’m moving straight to welcome my babies because it’s a thing of joy.

This quintuplets babies are not just come to the family of Mr Ogeh, but a big blessings to the good people of Ebonyi State and that of Ohaukwu LGA

She prayed as the mother of the state, that the children will be the future of the country and that of generations to come.

The Governor’s wife came welcoming the babies with her entourage, they include the commissioner for budget planning and monitoring, the wife of APC Chairman of the state, the wife of the Chief judge of the state, state house member Representing Ebonyi North, wife of the former speaker amongst others.

In speaking, the Chairman of medical Association AE-FETHA Doctor Nwedu on behalf of the Chief medical Director Onuo, acknowledged and commeded the Governor wife for her quick responses as the great mother of the state who always care, at each time they have babies like.

Mr Chijioke Ogeh who is a native of Ohaukwu LGA, with much gratitude thanked the Governor wife for coming over to welcome their babies, he promised to remain a good father and which help of the Government to give the best training for the kids.
