The speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Jibril Ismail Falgore, on behalf of Honourable members, extended a very happy Labour Day to the esteemed workers across Kano and beyond.
This message was conveyed in a statement released by his spokesperson, Kamaluddeen Sani Shawai, on Friday, Falgore workers as an engine room that vibrates and sustainable social -Economic Development of any society.
Falgore emphasized that work is changing rapidly with the economic, demographic, technological, and environmental trends.
As we celebrate Labour Day, 2026, workers should join hands with relevant stakeholders and come up with a strategy for continuing to advocate for the protection of workers’ rights that will focus on several issues that are taking place in the world of work.
Falgore stated, I salute all workers in Kano and pledge that the legislative arm will continue to strive to bring good tidings, especially workers’ welfare and well-being.
