An association identified as Wamban Shinkafi Democratic Front has endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Dauda Lawal as worthy candidates deserving a second term come 2027 general elections in Zamfara state.

The endorsement was made at Taula Multipurpose Hall during a stakeholders’ meeting of the political association in Gusau the state capital.

The association said, the endorsement was in consideration of the impactful human-based projects that the duo have executed during their first tenure in office.

The group noted that, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration has focused on infrastructure, energy, and social welfare under the “Renewed Hope Agenda,” notably launching the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, Sokoto-Badagry Highway, and the Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano expressway reconstruction. Major initiatives include nationwide healthcare upgrades, student loans, gas plant commissioning, and CNG vehicle rollouts. 

The group also noted that, Governor Dauda Lawal’s administration in Zamfara State has focused on an ambitious “Rescue Mission,” delivering impactful projects centered on urban renewal, healthcare, education, and infrastructure. Key achievements include the Gusau international airport construction, massive renovation of over 800 schools, upgrading general hospitals in 14 LGAs, and urban road rehabilitation.

Wamban Shinkafi Democratic Front urged its Stakeholders from all the 14 LGAs of Zamfara state to inculcate in members and support the outstanding achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Dauda Lawal beginning from now till 2027. So that, they would be convinced to vote for the duo come 2027 general elections.

The group expressed satisfaction over the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Dauda Lawal calling on every citizen of Zamfara state and Nigeria to support their second term bid.

Presence at the meeting was the Leader of the Association, Alhaji Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi, the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs , the Chief of Staff, Zamfara state Government House and other diginitiries.
