A Coalition of Youth groups from the Nasarawa South Senatorial District, has thrown it’s weight behind the Senatoral ambition of the Deputy Governor of the State, Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe.

The group made this declaration known on Thursday in Lafia, the State Capital.

According to the leader of the Coalition, Comrade Abimiku Dengana, the group took the decision to support the State Deputy Governor after extensive deliberations and deep consultation within and outside the Senatorial District on the leadership qualities of Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe.

” Our decision is not merely a Political Statement, it is a reflection of the collective aspirations of the Youths in Nasarawa South for visionary leadership, sustainable development and effective representation, we believe that Dr Akabe embodies the qualities necessary to elevate our Constituency to unpresidented heights”.

The group explained further that their decision was also based on the fact that the current Deputy Governor of the State is a Man with exceptional character, intellect and proven capacity, adding that with his remarkable administrative and leadership skills, he would be a good representative of the people as well as work for the growth and development of the Senatoral District.

According to the group, Akabe is more qualified for the Senatorial position than other Aspirants due to his steadfastness and vision for development of the area, adding that their preferred Aspirant contributions to Nasarawa South Senatorial Zone are not just theoretical but tangible and impactful.

“His commitment to the Welfare of the people is evident in his consistent advocacy for development initiatives within the district, he understands the unique challenges faced by our Communities and possesses the experience and political will to address them effectively”.

The Coalition members while promising to tour the five Local Government Councils that made up the Senatorial District to mobilize support to deliver the Aspirant during the 2027 general election, charged people of the area to rally behind the State Deputy Governor to enable him succeed.
