A leading aspirant for the Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency seat, Hon. Motunrayo Adijat Adeleye, has officially declared her intention to contest in the 2027 general election.

She made her ambition known during a meeting with party executives and key stakeholders at Ajuwon/Akute Ward 6 in Ifo Local Government Area.

Adeleye noted that choosing her ward as the venue for the declaration reflects her strong grassroots ties and dedication to inclusive, people-oriented leadership.

Addressing party members, she described her aspiration as a call to serve, anchored on experience, responsibility, and a commitment to delivering impactful representation.

According to her, the decision to run was influenced by growing calls from constituents for fair development and leadership that truly represents the diverse interests of the constituency.

She also expressed gratitude to the Ogun State Governor for the opportunity to serve as commissioner and for the support received while in office.

Outlining her vision, Adeleye pledged to focus on economic empowerment, job creation, and support for small and medium-scale enterprises, particularly targeting youths and women.

She further promised to promote vocational skills development, attract investment, and champion policies that will boost local industries and tackle poverty.

Reaffirming her commitment to inclusive governance, Adeleye assured constituents of accessible leadership, open communication, and representation that reflects their collective aspirations.
