Outspoken Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has called out colleagues who collect hefty fees for movie roles but refuse to promote the films afterward.
Taking to Instagram, the actress vented frustration over what she described as unprofessional behavior within the industry.
She explained that while she respects actors charging high fees, she draws the line at those who abandon projects after receiving payment.
According to her, promotion is part of the responsibility, especially in an industry where visibility directly impacts success.
Nkechi warned that such attitudes could lead to serious conflicts, including legal action.
“Na when film come out you act like say na free you come work… na war,” she said.
She emphasized that filmmaking involves significant financial investment and that neglecting promotion undermines the entire project.
“I no dey pluck money from tree,” she added, stressing the cost implications.
In a fiery conclusion, she questioned the sense of entitlement among some actors, warning them to stay away from her projects if they cannot meet expectations.
“Who do you even think you are?” she fumed.
