The Honourable Minister of Works, David Nweze Umahi, has extended warm Eid al-Fitr greetings to Muslim faithful across Nigeria, congratulating them on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.Â
In his message, Umahi described Eid as a period of reflection, gratitude, and renewed commitment to the values of sacrifice, discipline, compassion, and obedience to Almighty Allah.
He urged Nigerians to uphold peace, justice, and kindness, especially towards the less privileged.Â
The Minister also called on citizens to embrace unity, tolerance, and mutual respect as key drivers of national progress, while encouraging prayers for the peace, stability, and development of the country.Â
Umahi reaffirmed the commitment of the Federal Ministry of Works to delivering critical infrastructure that will boost economic growth and improve the quality of life for Nigerians.Â
He prayed for Allah’s acceptance of all acts of worship and charity, and for continued peace, prosperity, and good health for the nation. Eid Mubarak to all Muslim faithful.
