The All Farmers’ Association (AFAN) received a delegation from the EU and AU at the association’s national headquarters, Abuja where many important issues related to Mycotoxin were discussed.
In a press statement from the office of the AFAN national President, Honourable Mohammed Magaji Gettado, and made available to our correspondent stated that ” the All Farmers’ Association has received a delegation of about 25 people from the AU and EU on a special mission on the dangers of Mycotoxin at the association’s headquarters, Abuja.
Furthermore, the statement reaffirmed that the engagement and collaboration between All Farmers’ Association and the AU, EU would be a continuous effort to ensure that Nigerian farmers remained committed to profitable agri-business with little or minimal loss.
The AFAN national President, Honourable Mohammed Magaji Gettado expressed that his leadership will continue to ensure that farming in Nigeria remains profitable despite some challenges facing the global agricultural systems.
He added that” our leadership will continue to strengthen the economy through various means of adjustment for agricultural development and the unity of our members to continue working with one voice to benefit from all aspects of any agri-business for national economic restructuring”.
