The physical session of the Digital Marketing Skills for Renewed Hope Employment and Wealth Creation programme has commenced at the Prof. Usman E-Learning Centre, Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo.

The initiative is facilitated by Akeem Adeniyi Adeyemi, Chairman of the House Committee on South West Development Commission, in partnership with the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) under the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy.

According to the lawmaker, the programme is designed to provide participants, who had earlier undergone intensive virtual training, with practical, in-demand digital marketing skills to enhance their competitiveness in the digital economy.

He explained that the initiative aligns with the Renewed Hope agenda of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and aims to empower constituents to create wealth through technology-driven opportunities.

Beneficiaries of the training were drawn from Afijio, Atiba, Oyo East, and Oyo West local government areas. Adeyemi noted that the skills acquired would translate into tangible economic empowerment for the participants.

The lawmaker also recalled that two weeks ago, 100 youths were distributed laptops at the Oba Adeyemi Mini Stadium, Ode Aremo, Oyo, as part of efforts to bridge the digital divide and promote youth development in the constituency.

He expressed appreciation to NITDA and other partners for their support, adding that participants in the ongoing physical training will receive cash gifts and laptops in recognition of their commitment.

Adeyemi reaffirmed his commitment to delivering democratic dividends to the people of his constituency through sustained empowerment and capacity-building programmes.
