Nnewi North, Nnewi South, and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency is not just another constituency, it is a powerhouse of enterprise, innovation, and industrial excellence. For decades, our people have built businesses that command national and global respect. From the internationally recognized auto spare parts industry to our thriving markets, skilled artisans, creative youths, professionals, and resilient women, we have proven that the spirit of Nnewi is unstoppable.

Yet, despite our enormous contributions to economic growth in Anambra State and Nigeria, we have not received commensurate federal presence, infrastructure, or representation. Our roads require improvement. Our public schools and health facilities need modernization. Our youths seek opportunities. Our manufacturers need stable electricity. Our communities deserve clean water, security, and inclusion in national opportunities.

It is for this reason that I, Amb. Ikebunwa Lotanna, present myself to serve you in 2027. I come with vision, capacity, integrity, and the courage to pursue results. I believe representation must go beyond speeches, it must produce visible development that improves lives.
When elected, my agenda will focus on youth empowerment and human capital development, equipping our young people with digital, vocational, and entrepreneurial skills that prepare them for the modern economy. I will push for the establishment of Technology Hubs and Innovation Centers across our constituency to nurture startups, support digital skills acquisition, and connect our youths to global opportunities.

I will prioritize support for petty traders and market women, providing seed capital, financial literacy programs, and access to cooperative funding so that small businesses can grow sustainably. Our women are the backbone of our economy, and they deserve structured support, not empty promises.

To secure our future, I will champion the transformation of education by facilitating smart and modern schools equipped with digital tools, science laboratories, and improved learning environments. I will also strengthen public hospitals and Primary Health Centres, ensuring they receive essential medical equipment and advocating for improved federal healthcare funding.

Security remains fundamental. I will enhance community security by supporting vigilante groups, installing CCTV cameras, improving street lighting, and partnering closely with security agencies to safeguard lives and businesses.

Economic growth requires infrastructure. I will work to improve electricity supply, sponsor motions for better power distribution, and facilitate the installation of new transformers in communities suffering from overloaded or faulty ones. I will also expand access to clean and drinkable water through borehole projects, rehabilitation of existing facilities, and advocacy for federal water infrastructure upgrades.

Also, if elected into the green chambers, I will use my position to actively pursue and lobby for federal jobs, appointments, and opportunities for qualified constituents. I will establish a Constituency Employment Desk to connect our people to national openings. I will use my office to attract low-cost housing initiatives to support low-income earners, ensuring that hardworking families can access affordable and decent homes.

My mission is simple, to unlock prosperity, modernize our communities, and ensure that every ward in Nnewi North, Nnewi South, and Ekwusigo feels the impact of responsible, people-centered representation.

This is our time, our constituency deserves strong advocacy, strategic legislation, and development you can see and feel. I have the knowledge, the experience, and the determination to fight for our fair share and reposition our constituency for greater heights.
