The recent defection to APC by governor Abba Kabir Yusuf will strengthen the Democratic values in Kano state especially at present when the issue of 2027 general elections is fast approaching.

This was disclosed by  the chairman,  Kano state  Youth Association For the defense of good governance, comrade Musrapha Umar Tallo Gwarzo in an interview with neesmen in Gwarzo Town last Monday.

He added that governor Abba Kabir Yusuf is a leader whose policies and initiatives remained for the great progress of Kano state and at both rural and urban settlements, therefore his defection to the All Progressive Congress would pave ways of Actualizing his transformation agenda as seen on ground.

Comrade Mustapha Umar Tallo Gwarzo emphasized that in the near future, Kano would become more developed under APC government, and it is gratifying to understand that Kano electorates are witnessing excellent progress under the Abba Gida-Gida administration without bias.

“I am of the opinion that his Excellency Governor Abba kabir Yusuf will double his efforts to ensure that his campaign promises were fulfilled because our executive governor has a listening ears. He added.

Similarly, Comrade Mustapha Umar Tallo Gwarzo commended the deputy Senate President Senator Barau I Jibrin for cancelling his gubernatorial ambition to support governor Abba kabir Yusuf which is another victory to All Progressive Party, APC in Kano state.

“I am optimistic that our great party, APC is an avenue of progress, and from what Distinguish Senator Barau I Jibrin offered, the 2027 general elections would be hitch-free  and fair because there would be a United candidates that are respected for the polls and I am calling on the good people of Kano state to support the present administration for better democratic practice.
