Governor Ahmad Aliyu was among hundreds of Muslim faithful who attended the funeral prayer of late Sani Dangwaggo, a security aide to Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, popularly known as Jamam.

Late Sani Dangwaggo, a retired police officer, served as a security aide to the State APC Leader, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, and passed away on Saturday evening at the age of 58 in a hospital in Abuja after a protracted illness.

He is survived by two wives, seven children, and his aged mother, leaving behind a grieving family and loved ones.

Senator Wamakko’s spokesman Bashar Abubakar said the funeral prayer, led by the Chief Imam of Sultan Bello Jumu’at Mosque, Sheikh Malami Bello Akwara, took place at the residence of Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko along Sahabi Dange Road in the Gawon Nama area of Sokoto.

Among the dignitaries who attended the funeral prayer were Governor Ahmad Aliyu, Speaker of the Sokoto State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Tukur Bala Bodinga, and other notable figures.
