Hon.Augustine Ejibendu, an Aspirant for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Chairmanship ticket, has pledged that his administration will be fair, just, and equal to all zones in Idemili South, if given the opportunity.

Ejibendu, the APGA Youth Leader in Idemili South, made the pledge while addressing Newsmen on Sunday, January 25, 2026, in his Office at Oba.

He said he joined the race to serve his people and make Idemili South better.

“Idemili South needs someone who will unite its people, attract positive changes, and good projects. When a good person is in power, there will surely be accountability, transparency, and good governance. I have all it takes to serve my people better” he assured.

According to him, the only way to tackle insecurity is to empower youths. He promised that his administration will empower the youths of Idemili South through skills and create jobs if elected.

Ejibendu emphasised that the time has come for his local government, Idemili South, to experience leadership through excellent services.

He promised to address the challenges that need to be surmounted to achieve a better Idemili South.

He disclosed that his vision for his town is built on the principles of transparency, accountability, equity, and fairness, adding that as a result -oriented person, he would ensure that the good works of Mr Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, would translate into practical reality in Idemili South.

“I have led the youths for over 3 years now, the youths can attest to my unique leadership style, which is carrying everyone along.

“I am committed to ensuring peaceful coexistence in Idemili South, adequate security, infrastructure development, quality education and healthcare, empowerment and job creation, boosting agriculture and the local economy.

“I will work closely with community leaders, traditional rulers, and other critical stakeholders to ensure collective progress and make Idemili South a better place for all,” he further declared.
