The Zamfara state Chapter of All Progressive Congress APC under the leadership of Tukur Umar Danfulani has announced the record of 30,000 members with the use of the newly introduced e-registration technology, describing it as the most fast and reliable.

This was disclosed by Zamfara State APC E-Registration Coordinator Mallam Yusuf Idris Gusau while briefing journalists on the update of the exercise in the party Office at Bye-pass Road Gusau the state capital.

The 2026/2027 round of revalidation of the registration as well as registration of good and committed new members of our great party, the APC through e-registration which commenced on 1st January, 2026 nationwide.

We began with the inauguration of those charged with the responsibility of handling the exercise in our dear state of Zamfara State which is being coordinated by my humble self and supported by three Senatorial Districts coordinators, 14 Local government Supervisors and 294 ward agents in order to ensure that no one is left out.

So far, we are here today to report to you that the exercise has been wonderfully successful especially going by what we saw while going round as well as the reports received from our registration team across the state.

On a lighter note however, we have heard of speculations that some people are complaining that they are being excluded and disenfranchised in the exercise, I wish to state that such complain has not been officially reported to us as a committee nor had it been reported to the state Secretariat of the party for us to act upon, like I said earlier, no one will be left out in this ongoing exercise, so far we have registered over 30,000 members across the state in the last three days of the commencement of the exercise with Zamfara West having 11,651 Zamfara Central, 10,595 and Northern Zone with 7,957 totalling 30203 so we were surprised to hear blatant lies peddled by detractors making unfounded allegations that they are left out when they know how to register any complain to the party.

We are satisfied with the way and manner our party chairmen at all levels are handling the registration exercise in registering genuine members and new entrants.

We are urging them to resist any attempt that will scuttle the exercise by moles and those with history of anty party who are bent on destroying the unity and progress of the party.

It is also critical to note that the APC in Zamfara State has always remained one under our recognised leaders, and any breakaway or failure to come through the constitutionally recognised channel will amount to and be regarded as disrespect and disloyalty and will have no place at all levels of the party right from the wards to the national level.

We are particularly appreciative of all our leaders, more especially former governors, His Excellency Senator Ahmad Rufai Sani, His Excellency, Mahmud Aliyu Shinkafi, His Excellency, Senator Abdul’aziz Yari Abubakar and His Excellency Bello Mohammed Matawalle, the Honourable Minister of State for Defence for their full participation in the exercise and the environment they give to all members, old and new to register which in turn boosted the exercise and made it highly successful.

The party also notes with happiness the commitment and support of other critical stakeholders in the state.

We also appreciate the commitment of State Party Chairman Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani, former State Chairman Hon Lawal M Liman Kaura and the state Secretary, Hon. Ibrahim Umar Dangaladima for their supervisory roles and support

We wish to commend all our good, committed and law abiding members and urge them to continue in this highly dignifying spirit which we remain confident, will lead us to overwhelming success in the 2027 general elections and beyond.
