How TASLAF’s 2025 interventions quietly changed hundreds of lives across Oyo

As 2025 draws to a close, The Ayo-Sanda Ladigbolu Foundation (TASLAF) has reflected on a year marked by targeted humanitarian interventions that touched hundreds of lives across Oyo and its environs.

In a comprehensive year-in-review statement titled “Grateful for Impact, Committed to More,” the foundation highlighted how collective compassion, purpose, and sustained commitment translated into tangible support for vulnerable individuals and communities.

According to TASLAF, one of its most notable interventions in 2025 was the donation of a brand-new motorcycle valued at ₦1.27 million to an indigent man in Oyo town. The foundation said the gesture went beyond charity, restoring dignity, mobility, and a sustainable means of livelihood to the beneficiary.

The foundation also made a strong humanitarian statement during the holy month of Ramadan by feeding over 500 fasting Muslims. TASLAF described the outreach as an expression of solidarity with faith, humanity, and community, aimed at easing the burden on less-privileged families during the sacred period.

Economic empowerment was another focal area of the foundation’s activities. In 2025, TASLAF disbursed ₦500,000 in business support funds to widows and small-scale entrepreneurs in Oyo and surrounding communities, helping beneficiaries strengthen their businesses and improve household stability.

Education featured prominently in TASLAF’s social intervention strategy. The foundation distributed school bags, textbooks, and other educational materials to more than 200 pupils in rural primary and secondary schools across Ijawaya, Olorioso, and Elegbo communities.

Beyond the distribution of learning materials, TASLAF organized career talks for the students, aimed at broadening their horizons, inspiring ambition, and encouraging them to remain focused on their academic pursuits despite prevailing socio-economic challenges.

The foundation also turned its attention to family stability and social cohesion through its Annual Couples and Singles Seminar. According to TASLAF, the programme helped strengthen homes, heal strained relationships and reshape mindsets, one family at a time.

Reflecting on the year’s activities, TASLAF noted that while the numbers may appear modest, each intervention carried deep human significance, representing renewed hope, restored confidence and meaningful progress for real people.

The foundation attributed its achievements to the unwavering support of donors, partners, volunteers, board of trustees and well-wishers, describing them as the backbone of every successful intervention recorded in 2025.

Chairman of TASLAF, Prince Ayobami Sanda Ladigbolu, PhD, expressed profound gratitude to all supporters, noting that their trust and collaboration made it possible for the foundation to reach underserved populations.

He emphasized that TASLAF’s mission remains firmly rooted in addressing practical community needs while promoting long-term social development across Oyo State.

Looking ahead to 2026, the foundation revealed plans to roll out new community-based projects spanning social, educational, family, political, and economic sectors.

According to the foundation, these upcoming initiatives will be strategically designed to deepen impact, expand reach and sustainably uplift vulnerable groups within Oyo and neighbouring areas.

Prince Ladigbolu reaffirmed TASLAF’s resolve to do more in the coming year, stressing that the lessons and successes of 2025 have strengthened the foundation’s commitment to service.

He concluded by restating TASLAF’s guiding vision of “Creating Hope, Resolving Challenges,” assuring stakeholders that the foundation remains dedicated to building a more inclusive and compassionate society.
