Sokoto Commissioner of Police, Ahmad Musa decorated 9 officers with their new ranks, including ACP, CSP, and SP promotions.

The CP urged them to take on added responsibilities, while the promotees vowed to redouble efforts in their new roles.

Those promoted include 2 to Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), 4 to Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP), 3 to Superintendent of Police (SP) and 1 to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP).

Divisional Police Officer Old Airport Division Csp Mainasara Yahaya Maru and Divisional Police Officer Central Police Station were promoted to ACP, and DPO Arkilla Division SP Abubakar Tijjani, Dpo Tureta Division Sp Abubakar Lawal, Dpo Isa Division Sp Abdullahi Nuhu and Admin Officer 7pm Sp Sunday Abakpa Yusuf were promoted to Chief Superintendent of Police (CSPs). Three Deputy Superintendent of Police to rank of Superintendent of police and one Assistant Superintendent of Police to Deputy Superintendent of Police.

The statement by the Command’ spokesman Ahmad Rufai said the Commissioner then thanked IGP Kayode Egbetokun and Police Service Commission for the elevation of senior officers serving in his command.

The event was attended by senior officers, family, and well-wishers.
