The Minister of State for Works, Rt. Hon. Bello Muhammad Goronyo, has extended Christmas greetings to journalists covering the Federal Ministry of Works, praising their professionalism and role in strengthening public trust in government.
In a goodwill message released during the Christmas season, Goronyo commended members of the press for their dedication to responsible, objective, and accurate reporting on government policies, programs, and achievements in the works and infrastructure sector.
“The media remains a critical partner in promoting transparency, accountability, and confidence in governance,”

He emphasized that timely and factual journalism continues to play a key role in informing the public and supporting democratic engagement, particularly in the delivery of infrastructure projects across the country.
As Christians across Nigeria mark the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, Goronyo wished journalists and their families peace, good health, renewed strength, and joy.
He also expressed hope that the festive season would bring fulfillment and that the coming year would offer greater professional success and accomplishments.
The minister reaffirmed his commitment to continued cooperation with the press, stressing the importance of sustained engagement in advancing national progress and development.
