The Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment (FMITI) has received an appeal from JonahCapital Nigeria Limited and Houses for Africa Nigeria Limited regarding issues of corporate records alteration and administrative actions, according to a press release from Obilor -Duru Augustina Okechi,
Head Press and Public Relations on Monday.
The Ministry notes the matters are subject to ongoing judicial proceedings in the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory and Federal High Court, Abuja, with subsisting interlocutory orders directing parties to maintain the status quo.
The Ministry affirms its commitment to constitutionalism, rule of law, and respect for the doctrine of sub judice, ensuring no interference with the courts’ authority.
The appeal is being reviewed within the Ministry’s administrative oversight, without prejudice to judicial processes and court orders.
The Ministry reassures stakeholders of its commitment to investor confidence, due process, and transparent regulatory frameworks, urging respect for court orders and the legal process.
