The Sokoto State Government has distributed ₦150 million to flood victims in 15 local government areas, with each area receiving ₦10 million, while the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) also donated food and non-food items to six affected local government areas.
Governor Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto emphasized his administration’s commitment to supporting those affected, citing the devastating impact of the flood on residents.
