ANSAA hosts thrilling ACRA to reward excellence, compliance

The Anambra State Signage and Advertisement Agency (ANSAA) has organised the ANSAA Compliance and Recognition Awards (ACRA), honoured their progress partners who upheld compliance with diligence.

The event, which created a festive atmosphere and glamour was held on Sunday, December 14 at the Cihcotel Classique Hotel, Awka.

In his opening address, the Managing Director of ANSAA, Tony Odili Ujubuonu, rpa said the event was made possible by the vision of Mr Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, who is ever committed to changing the face of Anambra State for good, improving the quality of lives of its citizens, driving an emotional connection that elevates the Anambra brand with pride and above all crafting the collective destiny of generations unborn.

He disclosed that ANSAA was rebranded to connect with its stakeholders and realigned their vision to key into Mr Governor’s overall vision for the state and arrived at a mission statement that would enable them to achieve the vision.

Speaking on their mission statement “To be a world class technology – driven Agency delivering efficient, Innovative and sustainable value to all stakeholders”, ANSAA MD assured that they remained committed to delivering such value to their stakeholders.

“ANSAA has had a tremendous growth under our inspiring Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, from a staff strength of less than 45 to 80 members of staff with an average age of 29, from 5 zonal offices to 10 zonal offices, from a different band of revenue hustlers to a team of well-trained, properly dressed, well- mannered and confident partners of our highly revered clients” he revealed.

In revenue generation, Ujubuonu said ANSAA has transited from an agency which averaged 80 Million Naira per annum in the last administration to one which this year has delivered to the IGR account in excess of 750 Million Naria, adding that they remained committed hitting the Billion Naira mark by next year.

He further noted they would not increase signage fees, stressing that they have invested heavily on technology and infrastructure to ensure that all signage in the state is paid for.

Ujubuonu described ACRA as their attempt at saying “Thank You” to those who constantly pay them without pressure, who help them earn more money for the development of the state.

“Our Agency is built on people, its success depends on people, and we cannot afford to ignore this.

“ACRA also enables us to appreciate our members of staff whose commitment, professionalism and integrity have driven our success this year” he said.

ACRA was indeed a remarkable celebration in every respect as over 50 award recipients and their families were glamorously ushered into the hall after the Red Carpet.

Among the dignitaries present at the event were: the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Chief Ernest Ezeajughi, who represented the Governor, the Honourable Commissioner for Information in Anambra State, Dr Law Mefor,
the Honourable Commissioner for Environment in Anambra State, Engr. Dr Felix Odimegwu.

In his goodwill message, Chief Ernest Ezeajughi said ANSAA remained one of the agencies in Anambra State supporting Mr Governor in delivering and transforming Anambra State.

“We are expecting that ANSAA will be hitting 2 Billion Naira mark by next year.We are on this together” he said.

Hon. Amaka Obi, Idemili South Mayor was honoured as the best Mayor of the year, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) , the Young Progressive Party (YPP), RS Lotto Limited, Sun Newspaper, Udara FM, among others were recognised during the event.
