More than 500 students at the University of Abuja (UniAbuja) received Christmas gifts on Thursday, December 11, 2025, as Dominion City Church carried out a large-scale campus outreach, underscoring a message that “life is all about impact.”

The event, held on the university’s Political Science and International Relations campus, was organized through the church’s Golden Heart Foundation and followed an earlier promise made to students during the widely attended “Night of Glory” program in Abuja.

University grounds came alive with excitement as students sat in their numbers to receive food items, including bags of rice, in what many described as a timely intervention amid economic pressures facing students across the country.

Speaking on behalf of the church’s General Overseer and Founder, Pastor David Ogbueli, Pastor Favour Paul delivered a keynote address centered on purposeful living and service to humanity. The message was relayed through Pastor Ijedinma Nwankwo, who oversees Dominion City Church in Abuja’s North Region.

“Life is not just about survival or success; it is about impact,” Pastor Paul told the students. “Every life will give an account of how it was lived, and true fulfillment comes from living for others.”

The outreach was a continuation of Dominion City Church’s engagement with students following the “Night of Glory” program held earlier at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja. That event attracted more than 1,700 church members and guests, including over 500 UniAbuja students led by the Students’ Union Government (SUG) Provost.

During the campus address, speakers used practical illustrations to emphasize sacrifice, responsibility, and moral accountability, encouraging students to live as “change-makers” and contributors to society.

Representing the student body, SUG Provost Onwukeume Michael expressed appreciation to the church for honoring its commitment to return to the university and support students materially and spiritually.

“We are grateful that Dominion City Church remembered us and fulfilled the promise made during the Night of Glory,” he said. “This gesture means a lot to the students, especially at this time.”

The outreach team included Pastor Felix Adigwe, Mrs. Faith Adeyemi, and Pastor Brendan Elem, alongside volunteers who coordinated the distribution of gifts.

Students, many of whom spoke after receiving the Christmas packages, praised the initiative and described it as a demonstration of compassion and practical faith.

As the event concluded, prayers were offered for the church’s continued work, marking what organizers described as a reaffirmation of their mission to combine faith, service, and social impact—one campus at a time.
