The wife of the president of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has been represented by the wife of the Ebonyi State Governor, Chief Mrs Mary-maudline Uzoamaka Ogbonna Nwifur, as they commemorate 2025 world disability day.

She showed how delighted she is to join the disabled in commemoration of the 2025 world disability day.
She narrated how special the disabilities are on the occasion, which was going on in the whole world and 36 States of the federation, in conjunction with RHI and the wives of the police officers association.

This is to show that no disability is left behind; in two years, RHI has empowered over 100,000 women in small businesses, the Ebonyi Governor’s wife said.

“We remain committed to doing more to empower more people.
Let this opportunity be a seed to build something better in their lives and leave a better business.

The beneficiaries received #200,000 with a 25kg bag of rice, among others.
The Hon. Commissioner of women Affairs and social development, Ebonyi State, Barr. Mrs Felicia Nwamkpuma said that each time people heard that the wife of the president was coming to Ebonyi, they welcomed her because they gave her all the support,. After all, she empowered them and encouraged them.

Commissioner commended the wife of the president, saying” We visited disability vulnerabilities in various areas to make sure that we bring them together to share a sense of belonging

We assured them that they are part of us and made them feel free to celebrate and join with us.
One of the beneficiaries appreciates the wife of the president, ably represented by the first lady of the state, Chief Mrs Mary-maudline Uzoamaka Ogbonna Nwifuru, for giving them this opportunity every year. Today, over two hundred and fifty (250) disabilities are receiving two hundred thousand (#200,000) with a bag of rice.
