Borno State Police Command honor two retired senior officers > ACP Benjamin Igometi C/O 73pmf Magumeri and SP Lucky Akpobasa DPO Bulumkutu who officially retired today 1st December 2025, in recognition of their outstanding service, professionalism and dedication to the Nigeria Police Force.

ACP Igometi was recognized for his meritorious service, exceptional leadership and contributions both at home and on foreign missions, particularly during his tenure as Squadron Commander 73 PMF Magumeri.

Similarly, SP Lucky Akpobasa former DPO Bulumkutu Division, was commended for his professionalism, effective administrative leadership and strong community policing initiatives that enhanced public trust and safety.

The Commissioner of Police Borno State Command praised both officers for their distinguished careers and encouraged serving personnel to emulate their discipline, commitment and integrity.

According to a statement signed by the Borno state police Command,s Police Public Relations Officer, Asp Nahum Kenneth Daso ,the Command wishes ACP Igometi and SP Akpobasa well in their retirement and appreciates their lasting contributions to policing in Borno State.
