The National Youth Alliance (NYA) is pleased to announce the official unveiling of six newly appointed State Chairmen to steer the affairs of the movement across the Southwestern states of Nigeria.
This significant announcement was made by the National Vice President (South), Hon. Meshack Onyeche, as part of the ongoing national restructuring and mobilization efforts in preparation for the 2027 General Elections.
According to Hon. Onyeche, the individuals selected have demonstrated exceptional leadership capacity, loyalty to the ideals of the NYA, and a deep commitment to advancing a new political direction for Nigerian youths.
Their appointments and confirmations reflect the movement’s drive for strong grassroots structures that can champion youth participation, political inclusiveness, and national development.
The newly appointed NYA State Chairmen in the Southwest are as follows: • Adeniyi Ojo Adeniran – Oyo State • Olatunde Adeola Elizabeth – Ogun State • Hon. Ilesanmi Joel – Ekiti State.
Similarly, Olasunkanmi Osoaro is the chairman of the Lagos State chapter, Abass Gazali Alade – Osun State • Lamidi Ismail Oyewale – Ondo State.
Hon. Onyeche emphasized that each of the appointees was thoroughly screened and voted for based on merit, credibility, and their capacity to mobilize young people toward the collective vision of birthing a new Nigeria.
He further charged them to immediately commence grassroots engagement, strengthen state structures, and galvanize youth participation ahead of the 2027 elections.
The NYA remains committed to empowering competent young leaders, promoting national unity, and ensuring that the voice of Nigerian youths becomes a decisive force in shaping the country’s political and socio-economic future.
