The kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu has commended the gallant efforts of the military and other security agencies for rescuing the Deputy Speaker, Alhaji Muhammad Isma’il-Bagudo.
It could be recalled that the deputy speaker, who had been in captivity for almost eight days was abducted last week Friday shortly after Isha’i prayer at his hometown, Bagudo.
The Governor said: “I wish to sincerely commend the security agencies for their gallant efforts to rescue the Deputy Speaker.
“This shows the unwavering commitment of the security agencies deployed to serve the state. I urge them to sustain the tempo untill all those in captivity are rescued and reunited with their families.”
While describing the efforts of the security agencies for working in synergy to free the entire state from criminals, Gov. Idris appealed for more support from the general public to enable the security achieve their set goals and objectives.
