Senator Abdulaziz Yari has commended the administration of Governor Ahmed Aliyu for the rapid development of infrastructure across Sokoto State.
Yari, while commissioning the Mabera Road Network, described Governor Aliyu as a loyal mentee of Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko and expressed confidence in his ability to deliver on his promises.
“The ₦4.4 billion Mabera Road Network is a significant milestone in the state’s development agenda, focusing on the economy, infrastructure, and the quality of life,” Yari said.
Governor Aliyu, in his remarks, emphasized his administration’s commitment to building a Sokoto State where infrastructure serves the people, connects communities, and unlocks economic potential.
He noted that the project would alleviate transportation challenges, boost economic activities, reduce travel time, and enhance connectivity within the state.
The event highlighted the collaborative efforts between the government and stakeholders to drive development and improve the lives of Sokoto citizens.
The newly rehabilitated and constructed Mabera Road Network is expected to reduce vehicle operating costs, support regional trade and integration, and create an enabling environment for businesses to thrive.
The project will also increase property values, promote community empowerment, and strengthen socio-economic development across the state.
